Baladinos Beach Apartment

The owners, Maria and her husband, were the best: always smiling, kind, and happy to share information or just have a nice chat. They made our holiday unforgettable. The beach is peaceful, beautiful, and clear, only about a minute from the apartment door. Guests can use free beds, swings, and hammocks, with a tree offering shade as you enjoy lovely sunrises and sunsets. There’s a lovely garden and a restaurant serving delicious Greek homemade plates. The apartment had everything we needed, was comfortable and air conditioned, and got cleaned daily. ❤️ Diana & Ale

We were delighted with our family stay at Baladinos Apartments, especially the warm welcome from Maria and her husband. They made us feel at home right away and gave us a real taste of Cretan hospitality. The beach is only a minute’s walk from the rooms, which added a lot to the stay. The meals were outstanding in quality, ingredients, cooking, and care. There wasn’t as much variety as at a typical all-inclusive hotel, but every dish tasted homemade and authentic, so we hardly minded. There’s a supermarket just around the corner, some local restaurants nearby, and Platanias center is within walking distance at 2 km. The spot itself is quiet and peaceful, right by the ocean, with a lovely courtyard full of trees, benches, and hammocks. Staff were super friendly and cleaning was spot-on. I can’t think of anything wrong, and we’ll definitely return for our next summer holiday!

A peaceful, relaxing place, with kind staff and Kostas. The food and drinks are excellent, cooked or prepared fresh on site, and parking is simple. Our room was very nice and cleaned daily. Everything went well on our vacation, thanks, and see you next time! P.S. The only small flaw was no bidet, which matters a lot to an Italian!
