Maria made us feel very welcome, and since she lives only a few steps from the villa, she was always available if we needed help. The villa itself is nicely located, with a large pool and the sea about 200 meters away. Plenty of restaurants nearby let you sit by the water and try Greek food, and there are both small and large supermarkets close by for anything you need.

We had a fantastic week at Daphnis Villas. Maria looked after us so well, she couldn't have been a better hostess. The villas are very clean, fully equipped, and have a lovely pool. It's a small-scale place in a quiet spot, 35 km. from Chania. You can even borrow bikes. Ellie van Grinsven, Nederland

We couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodation for the wedding. The host was helpful and responsive the whole time, including when an AC unit needed repair. They went into the city to find replacement parts and got it fixed almost straight away. The villa is wonderful, too, and only a five-minute walk from the sea and restaurants.

Maria was a warm and pleasant host, and Daphnis Villas worked really well for our family get-together last week. Our large group took all four villas. Everything indoors and out was clean and comfortable, with well-equipped kitchens, a big pool, table tennis, a BBQ, and plenty of bikes we could use.

Our family of 20 stayed at Daphnis Villas from 21st Oct - 28th - Oct, right at the end of the season. There were still plenty of places to eat and drink, and the local shops within walking distance covered the essentials. Maria even took us to a nearby supermarket for larger items, and we shared a hired car for the main shopping trips. The pool area was fantastic, and Maria was outstanding and so helpful. The villa was great, and the outdoor barbecue area had room for all 20 of us. The only issue was the loft space room: light from the double room or downstairs came through and lit it up. That cost it a star for me, though we otherwise had an excellent stay and I'd highly recommend it. Our overall holiday was five stars. Thanks, Maria, for all your help.
