The reviews on other platforms don’t seem accurate. There were no umbrellas at all when we arrived, despite the photos showing plenty, and I had to ask for them. In that Greek sun, having no shade was a real problem. The grass hadn’t been cut, and the previous renters’ rubbish was still outside. None of the showers had been fixed, and they all leaked, which was really annoying when trying to sleep. A shower screen was missing too, with excuses given for why it hadn’t been repaired. The BBQ gas hadn’t been replenished. She didn’t believe the tank was empty, which caused needless delays. The kitchen was very short on utensils as well. The owner isn’t to blame, but the middle woman couldn’t manage these issues. Blaming everything on the Greek way doesn’t work. Maybe they should stay here for a week themselves to see what needs fixing. Having people come by every day to sort things out isn’t what I want from a holiday.

We made great use of the pool, barbecue and ping pong table, and loved having meals in the pretty, relaxing private garden. Eftihis welcomed us warmly with a lovely Cretan snack after our long, tiring travel day. We’ve never had that kind of hospitality before. The house was spacious, sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished, with everything we needed and more. It was very practical, and the Wi-Fi worked well everywhere. Great location and amenities, and a super host. Highly recommend!

The location made it easy to walk to the beach, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants. I stayed here for a week in summer with my kids, and they hardly ever got out of the pool. The villa had all the necessities, and we really enjoyed our time. I’d happily recommend it.

A lovely choice for a quality holiday. The house has been renovated with real care and taste, and its secluded garden, pool and patio are just right for spending the whole day outside.
