Golden Sun

The breakfast was better than I expected, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is great, but it was noisy. Maybe the walls are thin, or perhaps some of the other residents just lacked consideration.

Alexandra and Petros gave us amazing service, and the lobby is attractive and newly renovated. The rooms were clean, but they need updating. The furniture is very dated, and the AC is loud. The location is good.

We had a lovely stay at Golden Sun Hotel and would come back. The pool was a highlight, clean and well looked after, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The decor is a bit dated, but it didn't spoil the experience. The location puts you a short walk from Glyfada's shops and restaurants, with nearby beaches a quick taxi ride away. Breakfast had lots of choice and was replenished regularly. The staff were very friendly, spoke excellent English, and were glad to suggest local beaches, places to eat, and other things.

I was here for work for over a week, after my boss, who stayed at a highly rated hotel, recommended it. I found it strange that this was rated four stars, since it felt more like a two-star place. I've worked at at least three five-star resorts in Asia. The staff were friendly, the internet was good, and they brought me a fan when I asked, but I wouldn't stay here again. The room was dated and warm. The elevators were very slow, and the AC only gets turned on from mid-May. The food was the same every day, and noise came through from other rooms and from traffic outside. The worst was the guests next door: I could hear them clearly from my bathroom, even when they flushed the toilet. At 2:00 AM I woke up hearing a couple having sex and couldn't sleep again until they were finished. It was horrible. I told the staff the next day.
