Aelius Hotel & Spa

The food was a real highlight, especially breakfast and the à la carte restaurant with its fresh choices. My room was comfortable and well kept, and the hotel itself felt clean, modern, and restful. The pool stayed peaceful and wasn't crowded, while the spa was a nice extra. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout, which made the stay even better. I'd happily come back to Aelius Hotel & Spa by Lavris Group for another calm, comfortable holiday.

We had a really relaxing stay, and the cats wandering around were a highlight. They were all friendly, and one especially chatty cat made us laugh. The seafront is about a ten-minute walk away, with shops, restaurants, and plenty of car hire places nearby. Everyone working there was cheerful and lovely, from reception and the bar to the restaurant and room cleaning. The food was tasty, with local dishes alongside options for different tastes, and we were never left hungry. The place was clean; the ants in a few spots seemed to be there because some guests didn't tidy up after themselves. There was entertainment every evening, though we went to bed early and didn't watch it. If you're early risers too, we'd suggest a room in the sensus section, away from the pool bar. The show only runs until 23:00, so it wasn't too bad. We'd gladly recommend the place. A bad review from someone else doesn't mean you'll have the same experience.

The staff were the best part for us, always willing to help and make things easier. The location is lovely, and even at mealtimes the restaurant was quiet, with about half the tables empty. We had a basic room, but it was fine since we weren't planning to spend all day in it. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked really well, and it was very quiet.

The room and food were the biggest letdowns. We booked a standard room based on the hotel's website, but what we got looked nothing like the photos. It seemed the site wasn't showing actual standard rooms, which felt misleading and disappointing. The all-inclusive food was very poor. I often had stomach discomfort and needed the bathroom repeatedly after eating there. Food outside the hotel was excellent, so I felt the problem was with the hotel's catering. The limited daytime activities also left the stay dull and repetitive, despite the sunny setting. We expected a relaxing, enjoyable holiday and didn't get one. For us, it wasn't worth it, especially if you care about good food, entertainment, and a lively atmosphere.
