Astir Beach Hotel

We spent eight days, seven nights, at Astir Beach Hotel, and it’s the best and most beautiful holiday I’ve ever had. I still have such strong memories of it. The beach was lovely clean sand, so we didn’t even need the water shoes we brought, and the sea was beautiful and clean. It’s right across the road from the resort, and there’s a grocery and general shop next door, plus another shopping arcade just a few metres in front. The airport is only a few minutes away. The hotel and pools were clean, the sunbeds were washed regularly, and the walkways were too. Our room was beautifully cleaned every day, and the food was very tasty. The staff were kind and helpful. There were activities throughout the day and a different special show each evening, so we didn’t have time to see much elsewhere. It was all so delicious and fun. I especially want to thank animator Mickael and lifeguard Niko, who made our holiday so much more enjoyable. They have huge hearts, and we fell in love with them and miss them already. Saying goodbye was hard, and I cried. Thanks as well to animator Gideon, bartender Sakis, and everyone else. They were such warm people, and we felt very comfortable at the hotel. We’ll definitely return! ❤️

We had a warm, lively summer holiday and would absolutely come back. The hotel is only a few steps from the beach, with soft sand, clear water, and sometimes fun waves. There are water sports on the beach, and in the evening it’s a lovely walk to the nearby town centre, with its shops and restaurants. The food was excellent, with fresh fruit, lots of good salads, and tasty variety every day. The animation team brought energy, smiles, and ideas for both kids and adults, so there was always something to do. The staff are what make the place special, from the attentive waiters, waitresses, bartenders, and restaurant manager to Niko, the lifeguard. He’s a gem, full of positivity, humour, and real care, and brings a warm, family-like feel to the hotel. The rooms could use some light renovation, and more pool sunbeds would be helpful since they fill up quickly, especially in the morning. Those small inconveniences didn’t take away from the great time we had.

We had a great week here. The hotel is close to the beach and also has outdoor pools. The animation team exceeded what we expected, with fun games and fitness during the day and excellent shows at night. The food wasn’t quite 10-star, but it was always fresh and tasty, and the waiters were helpful and upbeat. Thanks for everything!

We could walk straight from the hotel onto the sand, and being so close to the beach made this a great place to relax. The staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived, always friendly, helpful, and smiling. Our room was comfortable and clean, with everything I needed and a balcony where we could feel the sea breeze. Hearing the waves in the morning and seeing the sunset were trip highlights. Many thanks to the best polo gate keeper. I’ve forgotten his name, but remember he’s from Athens, and he really knows how to handle kids. Cheers, hope to see you again!
