Cook's Club Corfu - Adults Only

The hotel has a calm, stylish look, and our room was clean and nicely designed. Staff were polite and attentive. When the shower had a problem, it was fixed within 20 minutes of us reporting it. I hadn’t arranged a birthday cake for my partner, but the hotel sent one to our room with room service, which was a lovely surprise. We really enjoyed the food. It felt different from a standard buffet, and ordering lunch and dinner through the app was new to me and worked well. Our 4 days at CC were amazing. I’d come back to the Cooks Club and look forward to trying their other destinations. Thanks for having us! 10*

The pool area had a lively feel, with good music during the day and no children running around. The hotel seems aimed at a younger crowd, which suited its atmosphere. I found a nice balance between the extremes I’d expected from reading the online reviews, somewhere between 5-star bliss and a Magaluf-style weekend. The design is lovely, modern, and consistent throughout. Our room was comfortable, the bed was great, and I didn’t have any noise issues. Breakfast was pretty average but had enough choice, and the gym was basic but fine for keeping up my routine. Dinner from the à la carte menu was excellent, as were the drinks served throughout the day. The location was the weakest part for me. It’s pleasant enough, but there may be better places to stay if you want to be near Corfu’s main sights. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would recommend it. I’d return too.

The room issue was the main problem for us. We found ants on the surfaces, in the beds, and on the floor, and ended up sleeping with them for the whole holiday. When the man from reception came to look, he asked if we were scared and said they didn’t bite. That wasn’t the point, this isn’t what you want on a paid holiday. We clearly asked to change rooms, but he refused. From the email I later got from the front desk, it also seemed he hadn’t passed our request on to management. We found food residue under a box on our last day, though we hadn’t brought any food into the room during our stay. I’ve attached a video of the ants. There were good parts too. The food selection was good, most staff were friendly, and the pool area was great. Plenty of sunbeds were available, with fresh towels provided every day. The hotel wasn’t all bad, but this issue is worth keeping in mind. If you can get a cheap deal, it may be worth it. Personally, I wouldn’t pay the 5* prices advertised on some holiday websites.

There wasn’t much around the hotel, so the location wasn’t ideal, but we had an enjoyable stay. We never had to compete for sun loungers, and the fitness classes were fun. Campiello was our favourite meal, and the waiting staff were excellent. The cleaners were friendly, and both the food and the good range of drinks hit the mark.
