Mathraki Resort

The resort was clean and tidy, with a lovely, well-kept pool and neat grounds, thanks to the hard-working staff. Dimitris and Nikos helped make our stay enjoyable. We had a recently renovated twin suite, finished well and equipped with everything we needed, including a good-sized fridge/freezer. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was great on warm nights. Our two children loved the animals at the resort, especially the tortoises. Gouvia, with its good restaurants and tourist shops, is a quick walk away. The main road gives easy access to beaches and towns and villages around the island. The secure private car park was a short walk from the resort. Booking direct was the best price compared with broker websites. We paid a deposit by bank transfer and the rest in cash on arrival. The hotel bar and restaurant take cash, not cards. Thanks again, we made wonderful memories at Mathraki Resort.

The homemade breakfast was delicious, and the family made us feel very welcome. We booked at the last minute and were kindly given a nicer room, which we really enjoyed. A cozy, welcoming place to stay.

The pools and play area kept our young children happy, and they loved seeing the little turtles and eating the tasty oranges from the garden trees. Mathraky Resort is beautiful and very clean. Nikos and his staff were friendly and attentive, and Nikos was especially good with guests. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

The family who run Mathraky resort looked after us well and communicated clearly. It was peaceful at night, with considerate guests, and the pool had enough loungers for everyone. We stayed just over a week, and my family was very happy with our choice. The room was comfortable, with a fridge freezer, hot plate, and very effective air conditioning. The location worked well too, close to shops, restaurants, transport links, Aqualand, the main road to Kerkyra, and Gouvia beach with its attractions and boat trips. We’d happily come back, especially with a young family.
