Alkis Farm AND Residence

The pool was spotless, and the rooms gave us a peaceful place to unwind after exploring. Nikos brought over fresh organic fruit and vegetables from his garden, and Nick and his team made us feel so welcome. Alkis Farm is spacious, beautifully laid out, and full of warmth. We loved the fresh organic food and getting a feel for farm life. Everything was thoughtfully done and comfortable. It was a special mix of luxury, local character, and everyday life here. An unforgettable stay, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next summer.

We came for a quiet week to recharge and got exactly that. The farm sits in the middle of the island, so you’ll definitely need a car. Ellie & Nickos and their team made us feel at home, with little treats brought by now and then. We spent all seven nights enjoying the place. The rooms, pool, and surroundings are all cared for with so much love. You can pick fresh figs, apples, and tomatoes, and there are two donkeys, chickens, sheep, and turkeys on the farm too. If you want somewhere peaceful that feels like home away from home, I highly recommend booking with Ellie & Nickos. Honestly, it felt like heaven on earth.

The three traditional houses have been renovated and are set far enough apart for different families. They share a generous pool with very little chloride, disinfected mainly with natural salt, plus a large garden with fresh organic vegetables, fruit trees, and a few friendly chickens. Inside, the atmosphere is tasteful and welcoming, and the houses have the essentials, including a pharmacy, AC, ventilator, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, and washing machine. What makes Alki‘s place special is Ellie and Nickolai's love of people, nature and all its creatures, the garden's gifts, beauty, and art. They host attentively while still giving you space. The farm was a great base for exploring Zakynthos, and it was lovely to have greenery all around us, along with a small vineyard and a vegetable garden where we could pick tomatoes and zucchini. The three villas each have their own look, with art pieces that added to the stay. We relaxed and reconnected with nature, and the pool was great too. Nickolas welcomed our family like his own and looked after us the whole time. We had a fabulous vacation and highly recommend Alkis Farm for a stay on the island. 🌞
