Laryssiou Suite

Mrs. Andrea really made our stay at Laryssiou Suites special. She was always ready to help with whatever came up, and her care added a lot to the experience. The place was spotless throughout, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. It was also quiet and relaxing, with an easy-to-reach location. The quiet courtyard was such a surprise. I came through an old blue iron gate and found myself in this bright, peaceful little house, with every modern comfort inside. It felt just like home. From there, I could look out at the sea and the little island with the Githio lighthouse. The approach is part of the experience. In June 2019 I wondered if we'd have to ride the motorbike between the terrace tables, but nobody minded. That's just how it goes on the typical narrow Greek street. As I climbed the stairs, the neighbor, an old woman, called “Kalimera!” You're right in the center, but it's still very quiet. Everything is walkable: the small harbor, and the cozy square where you can spend the evening with locals. Takis in Barba Sideris, a local restaurant, is a must-visit. It's also a handy base for exploring Mani, Monemvasia, Porto Kagio, and all the deserted little coves where your imagination can wander. Casa Larissiou was a dream I got to wake up in for a week.
