The shower was the best we’ve had, and it was separate from the washroom. The location was perfect, and the apartment had everything we needed for toiletries and the kitchen, plus more. Housekeeping was pleasant, efficient, and generous with anything we needed. There was also wine, water, and one serving of coffee for the press. But this should be called the Hobbit Apt #3. Anyone over 5'10", including me at 6'2", faces a safety issue, and the listing didn’t mention it. Anna, the manager and owner, refused to move us to another apartment over this safety concern. She described it as an upgrade request and wanted us to pay less than 50% more than we had already paid. Maybe Kalymnos, Simi, and Tilos spoiled us with how friendly and concerned they were about our comfort and safety. I never met Anna in person. The apartment we asked to move into stayed empty on the nights we asked. I kept my Euros in my pocket and managed to avoid the ceiling and light bulbs for all four nights. Perhaps Anna should put these photos on Booking. I’d definitely return to Halki, but not Lucas Houses, because of this and her choice to squeeze more money from customers who had already committed financially, at the expense of their safety.

The terrace and its view were lovely, and the mattress was especially comfortable. The furniture was tasteful, and everything was super clean. It’s a great, convenient place to stay in Halki, with an easy check-in. Highly recommend!

The apartment has everything you need, a private terrace, and such a beautiful view. It feels like a dream!
