Elinotel Apolamare Hotel

A relaxing stay at Elinotel Apolamare, right by the beach in Hanioti. The rooms were clean, and the setting is perfect. The staff were warm and attentive, and the management handled things very professionally. Highly recommended.

The town location was great, with a lovely view and good accessibility. The water was beautiful, clean, and warm, though the beach description should be more accurate: there are small stones offshore and large rocks in the water. The staff were probably the hotel’s best asset. Managers, pool bar and restaurant staff, and the cleaning ladies were kind and professional, 10+ from us. The grill master was especially kind and professional, and the meat seemed to improve toward the end, though it was overcooked most of the time. Food choice was scarce and the quality didn’t make up for it. I expected more fish, gyros, and other Greek meat specialties, along with at least one Greek-themed meal to introduce traditional cuisine, or more meals like that over our 10 days.

We especially liked the spa and the fresh, high-quality breakfast served each day. The staff were kind, professional, and quick to help with a smile. Our spacious room had a beautiful view, a comfortable bed, and luxurious amenities. The hotel was elegant, very clean, and beautifully decorated. Every detail felt luxurious, and the service was excellent. We had a memorable 5-star stay and can’t wait to come back. Great for a business or leisure visit, and highly recommended if you’re after comfort and relaxation.

The food was excellent quality with a good range, and there were very few mosquitoes. The sea view is lovely, and staff responses to problems varied from poor to excellent. Rooms are generous in size but starting to feel worn. The electronic key cards were temperamental, so we had to go to reception often. The hotel wasn’t disabled friendly. At night there was no security to handle noisy guests, which felt unsettling, especially if anything unusual happened. At the pool bar, there were no coffee or water stations, so you had to queue and ask for everything. Pool snacks were limited and also had to be requested. Beach shoes are a good idea. It was generally a good stay, but a few fixes and more attention to detail are needed for it to match the advertised 5 stars.
