Hotel Apartment Kastoria

We had a peaceful stay despite being close to everything. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start. Kastoria was amazing, with great service and atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and well kept throughout, parking was easy to find whenever we needed it, and the staff made us feel very welcome.

We’ve stayed here twice now and will definitely come back. The hosts are so friendly, some of the best Greek people I’ve met. The garden is full of flowers, everything is very clean, and there’s parking at the property. The beach is just a two-minute walk away. Our apartment had a fantastic sea view and a big terrace for breakfast or sunbathing on the sunbeds. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a large fridge, microwave, stove and cutlery. The bathroom was spotless, with a hairdryer and hot water all the time. It was cosy too, with air conditioning, a large LED TV and a big, comfortable bed.

The owners are really nice, friendly, welcoming and helpful people, and I want to thank them again. The place is clean, including the garden, and it’s only 3-5 minutes from the beach depending on how lazy you feel. Most rooms seem to have sea views, you can buy bottled water at the hotel, and the kitchen is useful. The bathroom seemed new. There’s air conditioning, though in my room it wasn’t placed very well. For the price, it was okay. Parking is free if you can find a spot. It’s more like mini apartments than a hotel, with a kitchen, hallway, balcony or sometimes two, and a bathroom. The downside is that restaurants are a long walk, about 15 minutes. My room’s furniture was very outdated, even though some rooms have been redesigned and refurnished. I don’t know why we got that room. The booking page offered breakfast on arrival, but when we got there they said they don’t do that anymore. The hotel is beside a busy road, with noise even at night, so I slept less. The windows are old and don’t block the sound. Hanioti is a nice little city. The place is okay for the money, but the room and road noise weren’t okay for me. It depends on how you sleep with noise around you. It’s close to the beach but far from restaurants, so people should weigh up what matters to them. Personally, I might look for something better.
