Our one downside was the bed setup: we would have liked one double bed instead of two twins pushed together. Still, this was the best place we stayed on our trip through Greece and went beyond what we expected. The apartment was clean and new, and the building looked renovated. It had a fully equipped kitchen, an iron, a washing machine, coffee powder, and even a shaker for frothing milk for the coffee machine. We also got little welcome bottles of local olive oil and schnapps. The reception staff were friendly and let us into the bedroom before check-in. We had a backyard to eat breakfast or another meal we'd made ourselves, and the location couldn't have suited us better.

We were so disappointed after a long ferry trip when the bed made it impossible to sleep. The springs kept poking my back, and my girlfriend and I would have been better off on the floor. I've slept better in the woods on an air mattress, and even a $30eur hostel has better beds. In more than 10 years of staying in hotels, hostels and camping, this was the worst bed I've had. The location is great, the shower is nice, and the welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. But the mattress feels like it's from the 1980s, and until it's replaced, I can't rate this place above 2 stars.

We were very happy with the stay. The host was flexible about an early check-in, which really helped, and there were lots of little extras in the room that we hadn't expected. The accommodation was spacious enough for us and very close to the city centre.

In room 17, the bed was as hard as the floor, and music from the bar came through as if I were sitting there. Light from the hallway also shone straight into the room despite the curtains. It was the worst night, and I strongly don't recommend this hotel.

The location was handy for the city Center and bus stops, but the bars made it noisy. Our ground floor flat had a strong, constant toilet-like smell. The room also felt stuffy and old, and didn't seem renovated or well maintained.
