Ethereal White Resort Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

We found this hotel after a flight delay left us needing somewhere for one night, and stopped in to ask in person. A room was already available, and the service was excellent from the start. The rooftop pool had a lovely view of the sea and mountains, and was a relaxing spot. Breakfast was good, and the spa was nice and uncrowded. Even after checkout, they let us use the shared areas, including the restaurant and pool bar, while we waited for our airport taxi. We were very pleased with the comfort and service, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a resort-like stay in Heraklion.

The staff at Ethereal White Resort, Heraklion turned a bad start into a lovely stay. Our hotel booking in Heraklion had been terrible, so after arriving from Canada in early October to explore Crete and its culture, we stopped by looking for another place. Chrisanthi at reception quickly explained the availability and prices, and we were grateful for how professional and helpful she was. George (Geórgios) showed us around and arranged takeaway breakfast for our early flight. The resort went beyond what we expected: a tasty breakfast, parking, spa services, fresh towels and bedding, and complimentary wine, water, and snacks. The staff were helpful throughout. Thank you to Chrisanthi, George (Geórgios), Maria, the housekeeping team, and restaurant staff for their excellent service. Our vacation became so enjoyable that we'd happily return and recommend the resort.

We finished our trip with a spa treatment, which was a lovely way to end it, and had a great cocktail at the bar after a day of sightseeing. Our family group had three rooms for a few nights in September 2025, and we all found them comfortable, with good luggage space and handy digital controls. The staff were attentive and helpful. We walked from the ferry to get a feel for the area, though taxis are easy to find, and there are lots of shops and excellent places to eat nearby. The hotel also makes a convenient starting point for exploring Heraklion. We recommend staying here if you're spending time in the city.

The spa access was a highlight: two hours each day were included, with a big pool and jacuzzi that made it easy to unwind. I also paid extra for a facial, and the therapist was lovely and professional, using quality Germaine de Capuccini products. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind and attentive. The head waitress was especially caring and dedicated. I congratulated the team before leaving because Ethereal White Resort is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. From the moment I entered reception, I felt this was the place for me. It's modern, beautifully scented, and put together with elegant details. The rooms are gorgeous. Best hotel in Crete for me. I left a piece of my heart there and can't wait to return. Highly recommended.
