Infinity City Boutique Hotel

The hotel was good value for money, with a convenient location near the sea promenade and within walking distance of the city center. Service was great. My early request for dairy-free breakfast somehow hadn't been sorted in time, but the shift manager, Michas ?❣️, rushed to get some products, so breakfast the next morning was wonderful. When we were rushing to catch the bus, another shift manager, Niki, had finished work but offered us a ride to the station.

We left disappointed, especially by the smell and how misleading the presentation felt. The photos make this look far better than it is, with flattering angles, lighting, and probably editing. For the price, we expected much more than an old property in poor condition, more like a budget guesthouse. Our bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, the shower was broken and missing its holder, and the trash was already full when we arrived. They fixed the shower after we complained, but it should have been checked beforehand. The location is described as central, but it's in a residential area outside the actual center. Things are nearby, but it isn't really in the center as implied. Breakfast was the same each day, and the omelets always had meat, leaving no vegetarian option. The so-called sea view is mostly blocked by neighboring houses, and the balcony isn't very usable unless you smoke.

Our room was large and clean, and we had a really good stay at infinity hotel. The staff were lovely and offered us lots of advice and recommendations. The location is good, right in the center of Heraklion. Parking close to the hotel can be a bit tricky, but it is possible.

The views over Venetian harbour were nice, and the place was comfy, clean, and quiet, which was what I needed. It did the job, though it felt expensive next to other local places where I'd stayed. Don't bother with app check-in, this isn't a tech-dependent place.
