Paralos Lifestyle Beach

The outdoor area was really nice, and I liked the hotel's friendly atmosphere, food and location near the airport. The hotel is small but tidy and pleasant, the food was tasty, and there was always something we enjoyed. The rooms were small but fine. I thought it met the standard of a good four-star place. The beach has a small farm with roosters beside it, without a barrier between the farm and the hotel's beach area. That far corner doesn't have the best view. The roosters crowed from 6 a.m. daily, and there was road noise too. Staff cleaning the grounds started around 7 a.m. and often spoke loudly. One morning they hosed the area without realizing the water could run under the entrance door. I woke to water hitting it and found the floor, and the whole room, flooded. There were lots of cats around the grounds. They're lovely, but sometimes use the sand as a toilet. The room cleaning wasn't very thorough, though that was okay for me because I spent most of my time outside. The hotel seemed to cater mainly to German guests, and service was clearly aimed at German speakers.

The team made the stay feel warm and personal, from reception through the dining service. Their professionalism and genuine care stood out throughout. Our accommodation was stylish, spotless and thoughtfully kept, with housekeeping making sure everything stayed in order. The meals were another strong point: fresh, high-quality ingredients, plenty of choice, and a nice mix of local and international dishes. The beachfront setting was hard to beat, with beautiful sea views and direct access to a pristine beach. Local attractions were close by, while the atmosphere still felt peaceful and relaxing. Paralos Life’s Beach Hotel offers a lovely combination of comfort, elegance and hospitality. We'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay and good service in Crete.

Live Greek music on our first night made us feel so welcome. It was a lovely start to the holiday, and a moment I'll always remember. At Paralos Lifestyle, everything was clean and just right. The whole team, from the help desk to the waiters, were friendly and greeted us warmly, even in 27°C heat. We had an amazing stay and would love to come back.

The pools were brilliant, and there was loads of seating by the beach. The beach bar was a standout too, with food and drinks well above what you'd expect. Our room was comfortable, and the welcome drink and transfers at departure were handled seamlessly. The staff couldn't have done more to help. It's hard to single everyone out, but a special thanks to Maria at the Beach Bar, George, the sous-maître who's well on his way to maître, Stefanos, Korina and Marina. Awesome stay, so worth it.
