The breakfast at the waterfront's "Isalos" cafe was good. We paid extra to upgrade it, and were glad we did. The place itself has been recently refurbished with great care, and it's conveniently just a short walk from the waterfront. That matters in Hydra, since the town climbs uphill and getting around can mean a lot of walking. A lovely stay on a very special Greek island.

Really disappointing, and it felt like a rip off. I paid the hotel Euro 100 to send Moet champagne as a birthday gift to a friend staying there. On the day, they delivered Greek sparkling brut instead, a bottle I've seen online for £13. I asked for at least a partial reimbursement, but they haven't replied to my emails. Travellers, be careful.

The thoughtful design and high-quality equipment made for a great stay, and everything was exceptionally clean. The hospitality was warm and kind too. It's ideally placed for getting around the port and market, and we definitely recommend it for a Hydra holiday.

5+!!! The pictures don't capture how beautiful and amazing this place is. We stayed in the Aithra room and it had everything we'd want at home. The hostess was warm, enthusiastic and helpful. Highly recommend!!!
