From the balcony, I could watch the locals going about their busy day and donkeys passing along the nearby street. There are no cars in town, and the main hiking trails around the island start from that same street. Cafes, restaurants, and small shops are all around, and the hotel is right by the port in the center. My room had a balcony overlooking town, plus a small fridge and kettle. The air conditioner worked for both cooling and heating. The hot water comes from a boiler, and the staff explained clearly how to use it. They replied quickly on WhatsApp, and the local employee was very nice and helpful. The town clock or church bells start ringing in the morning, and corridor noise carries quite clearly, so sensitive guests may want to keep that in mind. Hydra Kirki was a great spontaneous choice for spending my birthday on the island. Thank you for a great stay!

The lobby staff were so kind, helpful, humble, and reasonable. This is my favorite hotel in Hydra so far, and I need to come back for a longer stay. See you soon!

Hotel Kirki is ideally placed for shopping, meals, and sightseeing, with some distance from the busy main road while still just a short walk from the port. Our renovated room was bright, fresh, and clean, with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. The staff were polite and accommodating. I'd happily recommend it and would love to stay there again on my next visit to Hydra.
