The rooms are basic, just as expected, but spotless and perfectly comfortable for what we needed. What makes this place special is the thoughtful attention and the caring, attentive staff. They offered friendly advice that helped us save on excursions and car hire. There’s a lovely pool, garden, and bar, and the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants are an easy walk away. It’s quiet and peaceful, with an excellent bus route right outside. This deserves five stars for the accommodation and care, though it isn’t a five-star hotel. Highly recommend this little apartment gem.

A quiet spot, with the beach fairly close by. The pool was especially nice and clean, and the sunbeds were free to use. Our room was cleaned regularly and kept very tidy. The staff were helpful and available, the owners were lovely, and their pets were friendly too. It’s a good place to stay overnight if you’re planning to spend your time out of the hotel. The air conditioner was the one real downside. It was very noisy, its casing was a bit broken, and after years of use it clearly needs replacing. The other room also got very hot. Apart from that, we have no complaints.

The setting is a big part of the appeal. Shops, restaurants, the beach, and town are all within walking distance, with two bus stops outside and small supermarkets right next door and across the road. Anita is a great base, unlike some large hotels that are far from everything. It’s a warm, family-run place where people remember you and ask about your day. The team works hard to make things relaxed, and nothing feels like too much trouble. The pool and grounds are well kept, the apartments have what you need, including a small kitchenette, and the rooms get fresh towels and bedding daily. Reception also arranged trips and a car for us without any fuss. It may not be rated five stars, but the care felt better than at some five-star hotels. We loved it and would recommend it.

The pool was lovely, clean, and quiet, and the owner and her husband were very nice. Still, we wouldn’t return. Our toilet leaked, and black stuff came out of the air conditioner. The bed and pillows were hard, and the bed gave me backache. One staff member was rude to us several times. At breakfast, despite there being plenty of space outside and us having sat there on previous days, they told us we had to sit inside. That experience put us off coming back. If you arrive late at night, bring something to drink, since the shops are closed and there’s nothing to get at the hotel.
