Hippocampus Hotel

The buffet breakfast was wonderful, with everything fresh, and the hotel was very clean. Everyone on staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Thanks for such excellent service. I’ll choose this hotel whenever I visit Rhodes. Highly recommend it.

We really appreciated the warm welcome and attentive hospitality at this lovely boutique hotel. The owners are incredibly kind, and the cozy atmosphere, beautiful balconies, and great bar made our stay special. The location was convenient too, about 10-12 minutes by car from the famous Ronda Beach and very close to the Old Town. Everything was enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The host was lovely, and we even got complimentary drinks. The staff are super friendly, and the hotel has been newly refurbished, quite fancy for Greece. But there was a bad smell in the bathroom, which I think may have been from poor shower cleaning and a clogged filter. Air conditioning also cost 7 euros per night. That wouldn’t be so bad, but the remote barely worked. One night we literally froze, and the next we could barely feel a difference. Without the smell and costly AC, it would have been 5/5.

The staff were polite and smiling, and made us feel comfortable straight away. They recommended cocktails that matched what we like, and both those and the wine list impressed us. The food is a real draw: the dishes were carefully prepared, tasty, and beautifully presented. Hospitality is at a very high level, and prices are very reasonable. I’d highly recommend it, it’s an experience worth having.
