The beach nearby was quiet and great for swimming, though beach shoes were a worthwhile buy for the pebbles along this coast. We also noticed planes overhead now and then, but they weren't frequent and didn't bother us. Matoula Beach was just right for our needs. It's a smaller, really friendly hotel and was exceptionally clean. Our double room was a good size and had everything we needed. The staff were all helpful and welcoming. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing, and the included evening meals were superb, freshly made with Greek recipe options that changed every night. I'd happily stay again.

The breakfast had lots of choice and was well worth having. This place would suit anyone looking for a quiet break, mostly relaxing by the pool. It's in a remote spot beside a pebble beach and a small water park, with not much else to do nearby. The local bus stop is about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is rated 4 stars, though I'd put it at 3. I also had to pay €10 per night in tourist tax, while the 3-star rate would have been €5.

The fresh eggs at breakfast were a nice touch. The staff were amazing and paid attention to every detail, always ready to help. Our room was spotless, with fresh towels every day. An absolutely outstanding hotel, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The meals were excellent, with plenty of delicious choices that kept each one interesting. The bar staff deserve a special mention too. They were professional and genuinely warm, greeting us with big smiles and making each visit a pleasure. Housekeeping kept our room spotless throughout the stay, and reception were always smiling, helpful, and quick to sort out any request. From arrival through departure, the service made us feel valued. Thank you, everyone!

The pool is such a relaxing spot, with green grass around it and natural shade. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was really good. It's only a five-minute walk to the beach. You can see planes landing overhead, which airplane fans might enjoy as a fun extra. Highly recommend!
