Villas Duc Hotel Apartments

The rooms are spacious and look out over a nice pool. Breakfast was fine, and so was the service. It’s a very nice place, though a bit outside the city center, about 20 minutes away by bus.

Great food and a lovely location. The staff were really friendly, and staying here was a 12/10 experience.

The pool shuts at 6 pm while the sun is still out. When I asked why, I was told, “this is the rules,” but no one could find that information anywhere. Other guests were also talking about major problems and how everything seemed to be falling apart. It’s only our first night and I’m already wondering if we should change hotels. The hotel is full and there don’t seem to be enough staff to serve everyone. The elevator is broken, the door lock broke on our first day, and the air conditioning doesn’t cool. Staff came to check it and said it worked, but even set to 18 degrees it blows warm air. Maybe I’m wrong, or the staff don’t know warm from cold. This isn’t a five-star place, but I’ve never stayed anywhere that made me consider moving out during my holiday.

We’ve been coming to Villas Duc in Rhodes for several years, and it’s become the family’s favorite place for a holiday. Friends we brought along recently loved it too. The green setting and welcoming atmosphere feel like a home away from home. It’s easy to get around on foot. A lovely beach, little shops, a bakery and several restaurants are all a short stroll away, while the hotel itself stays peaceful. We especially like the pool area, with its well-kept grass lawns where the kids can play and we can relax in the sun. Via Duc serves really good food. Breakfast gives us plenty of fresh, tasty choices each day, and we’ve never been disappointed, whether we’ve had a full meal or a snack. The warm hospitality is what makes each visit memorable. Evelyn, the owner, her family and the team are kind and attentive, and make guests feel cared for. It feels more like visiting old friends than checking into a hotel. We’d recommend Villas Duc to anyone after a family-friendly stay on the island. We suggest booking through their website directly for that personal touch.
