They sent us off with olives from their own garden, a lovely touch. The owners also greeted us with a drink, and the place was clean and close to the ferry port. Breakfast was homemade and really good. I'd recommend staying here in Igoumenitsa.

After a very long day, that welcome drink was exactly what we needed. The host let us leave our hire car in the car park for five days while it was unattended. The rooms and facilities were neat and clean, and breakfast tasted good. We'd recommend the place without hesitation.

The town itself was a pleasant surprise, with helpful, friendly people. At the hotel, I was greeted by a kind, friendly woman who spoke English, and I got an apartment with a kitchen, which I hadn't expected. It was clean and comfortable, reasonably priced, and had safe parking for my motorcycle. After five years of travelling the world by bike, Holiday Zigos hotel is one of my best stays. A great spot to wait for the ferry, and I'd tell other motorcyclists heading to it to stay here.

Getting off the ferry at 11 pm, the location couldn't have been more convenient. The owners were fantastic, welcomed us with a drink, and gave us olives to take along. The room was clean and comfortable.
