Byzantio Hotel

There’s a family feel to this big hotel. The staff were friendly and keen to help, and breakfast was nice. The rooms were cleaned every day. The location worked well for us, with a bus stop close by.

The town center is within walking distance, and breakfast was good. We found the staff friendly and welcoming, the rooms clean, and fresh towels and toiletries provided. They let me keep the room for a few hours after checkout. I was told there would be an extra 30% charge, but in the end they kindly let me stay at no cost. Great value for money.

We’ll come back. The rooms have been recently renovated and were cleaned daily, and the staff were helpful and very polite. There’s ample parking, and the location is a couple of kilometres from the city center. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff and service were alright, but there were a lot of issues with the room and the hotel. The outer location made it take a long time to get places, especially the center. The rooms I stayed in were below average for space and storage. Those on the second floor barely had room for a suitcase or other belongings. Furniture in the rooms I used was worn and starting to break, and the balcony area outside was dirty. You also can’t get delivery. You’re limited to snacks you brought yourself or food ordered through the hotel service. Soundproofing is almost nonexistent, so you can hear everything from neighboring rooms. Security feels old-fashioned, and there’s no safe. Apart from switching from keys to cards, there haven’t been real renovations. The room electronics, including the thermostat, didn’t work properly. The only way to change the temperature was to open or close the window.
