The staff were friendly, and the dining room and cold buffet breakfast were good. The room itself was fine, though the floors were all tiled and smelled strongly of bleach, a bit like a hospital. Sound carried through the thin walls, and the cleaners started at 8am, with brushes hitting walls and carts echoing down the corridors. The people next door weren't loud, but I could hear everything, so I didn't sleep well. We stayed two nights out of the three and then I had to go elsewhere. There's a nearby place that seems to play dance music on repeat until after 10pm. At half the price, this would be good value.

We spent four nights here during a motorcycle tour, and the secure parking and pet-friendly policy made it an easy choice. Everything was clean and tidy, right in the heart of the city, with the lake an 8min walk away. The facilities were lovely, and the people were even nicer. One small tip: bring a 2m extension lead, since the wall sockets are far from the beds. Reception kindly lent us one when we asked, though I don't think that's standard. Thanks for a lovely stay. Looking forward to coming back!

The rooms were clean and tidy, and fairly spacious. Some are older but in good condition, while others have been renovated. Breakfast was good, though it was the same every day. The receptionists were always smiling, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no parking, and neither special needs parking nor a wheelchair accessible entrance is available. For Muslim travelers, food in Ioannina is not halal, so the options will be vegetarian everywhere, not just at this hotel.

You can walk to just about everything from here, including groceries, bars, places to eat, and the city center. The staff are friendly and speak good English, and the hotel has private parking, which is handy. Breakfast is very basic: bread, butter, jam, ham and cheese slices, hard boiled eggs, some cereal and yogurt, plus coffee. The hotel is cheap, and the rooms have pretty much just what you need, with things only just functioning. Nothing fancy at all, especially room 307.

We had a great stay at Dioni hotel, right in the middle of the lively bar area. The mix of older and modern architecture was nice, and the receptionist was really cool and easily sorted out our late check-in. Highly recommend this place!
