We were a family of four staying for 4 nights, and were really disappointed with every part of the hotel. The rooms didn’t look like the photos, and the bathroom was in horrible condition. The doors creaked and had holes, the shower was bad, and we could hear everyone in the other rooms. My single bed had broken planks under the mattress, and I couldn’t sleep in it. Breakfast was the same every day and nothing special. The parking lot was included in the price, but there was barely any space left for my car. It’s just a place to sleep, and I wouldn’t recommend staying more than 1 night. Just sleep and leave.

The staff were all pleasant, polite, helpful, and nice. Breakfast was decent and fresh enough. The area felt a bit dodgy, though safe overall, and the photos weren’t accurate. Our room also wasn’t as clean as expected, and the price was slightly higher than I’d expected for it.

The people around here were warm and friendly, even though the local streets look a bit run down. We found a couple of good coffee bars and some bakeries tucked into side streets. The hotel is in historic Ioannina, clean and comfortable, with easy walking access to the lake and popular places to eat.

The room was clean, warm, and decorated in a lovely Victorian style. But we’d requested a double bed and found three singles instead, with two pushed together and a small gap between them. The extra bed meant the furniture had been rearranged, leaving little room to move, especially on the side by the windows. There were a couple of maintenance issues too: the toilet base leaked and the sink faucet was loose. Our room was in the hotel’s older section. It had a nice feel, but there was no heating in its hallways, and the Wi-Fi signal didn’t reach us. We had no Wi-Fi in the room. Also, the hotel was much farther from Ioannina’s historic center than the 600 meters stated on Booking.
