The staff were super friendly, spoke English very well, and even let us check ourselves in at noon. Still, we left for another hotel instead of staying the two nights we’d planned, and got no refund. Our room smelled like a dog, which we couldn’t put up with, and it clearly needed renovation: the radiator was rusty, there were damp marks, and the cabinets were crooked. The pool also sits alongside a busy lane, so it didn’t feel like the peaceful oasis we wanted.

We keep coming back to this hotel in Ioaninna. Angeliki was cheerful and so helpful, including pointing us to a great arni stin kastri in a nearby village. The rooms were clean, breakfast was nice, and there’s a pool. Thank you!

Georgina at reception was very kind and attentive whenever we needed anything. The pool was a great extra, and the kids loved it. Breakfast was simple but decent. The double rooms have a really big balcony, though the rooms are a little old. The quadruple room isn’t huge, but it fits four kids, with a low ceiling since it’s basically in the attic. Having a big My Market supermarket right next door was very convenient.

The service was the highlight: everyone was amazing, smiling, helpful, and bilingual at least. Room quality varies a lot. Ours was huge with comfortable beds, but some electric sockets were coming out of the wall and half the lightbulbs didn’t work. Whether the location is convenient depends on what you’re here for, since the hotel is in the suburbs of Ioannina. I’d still recommend the place.
