The staff were warm and polite, and the rooms were cozy. Breakfast was homemade and tasty, with enough to satisfy you, and had a semi-traditional feel. The nearby village has places for coffee and meals, plus a nice view. Totally worth it.

The views from our room were breathtaking, and the calm setting was lovely for unwinding. After exploring, we’d sit on the terrace and watch the sun set over Ioannina. Mir Boutique Hotel also made it easy to bring our pets along, which meant we could all enjoy exploring Epirus together. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived at this family-run place. The owners greeted us warmly, along with their delightful Greek shepherd, Vangelis. That genuine hospitality made the stay memorable. The owners were also on hand with helpful tips and suggestions for seeing the area, from local attractions to planning excursions, and Mir Boutique Hotel made an ideal base for exploring Epirus. Breakfast was a highlight. There was a great range of options, and the quality exceeded what we expected. Having it in such a charming setting made each morning feel special and set us up nicely for the day. Mir Boutique Hotel brings together luxury, warmth, and wonderful hospitality. It’s a hidden gem in Ioannina, and we were glad we chose it.

The owners clearly put so much care into Mir Boutique. We’ve traveled widely, and only a few places really stand out for how they look and how they treat guests. This is one of them, easily near the top. It’s family run, perched above the lake, and has been our favorite place to stay since we moved to Greece five years ago. Breakfast is included, and so much of it is homemade. I loved the food, especially the panna cotta Alkistis made for us. Before we left, they sent us off with homemade marmalade and mountain tea, too. If you’re coming to Ioannina, staying here would make the trip memorable.

Such a lovely stay. The view was amazing, the room was clean, and everyone was friendly. We had a freshly made breakfast each morning, and the village restaurants were an easy walk away. Highly recommend!

You can sit with a coffee on the shady balcony and look out over Ioannina lake. The stone houses have a Northwest-Greece country-house feel, with lovely gardens, and the rooms are spacious and super clean. The people are so welcoming, and the dog may be the happiest one around. It’s close to Ioannina and about 30 minutes from Zagorohoria. Breakfast is an experience.
