Waking up to birdsong and fresh air, with a peaceful lake view, was such a lovely way to start the day. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, served with care while we looked out at the water. Montana Lake View sits between a serene lake and impressive mountains, surrounded by greenery. The accommodation was comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged, with a warm, homey feel throughout. You can tell a lot of care went into every detail. The host and her daughter were so kind and welcoming, always ready to help. They did so much to make our stay special. It was one of the most soothing trips I’ve had, and I can’t wait to return for more peace, nature, and genuine hospitality. Thank you, Dorela

After a few days on the road, Ioannina was our final stop, and staying at Montana Lake view turned out to be such a great surprise. Miss Katerina, the owner, was wonderful with us. The newly built place is cosy, beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly clean, with a lovely view and a great location close to the city. Its architecture has a mix of Swiss style and traditional northern Greek touches. We had fresh, tasty breakfast every day, and Katerina gave us helpful advice for exploring around. I’m grateful for the hospitality and all her help. Recommend 100%.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and Katerina helped us plan each day over a delicious breakfast overlooking the lake and island. We spent six nights at Montana Lake View in October, and she was a very kind, welcoming host with plenty of knowledge about things to see around Ioannina. She always had more ideas for us and was happy to help. On our first night, she even drove us to the city centre, so we could take a €10 taxi back after having drinks in Ioannina. She also arranged a guided hike with her husband Dimitri along the Aoos river to a monastery near Konitsa. It was beautiful and not too difficult. We can recommend staying here 110%!

The living room felt like a dream, and the decoration made the place seem straight out of a fairytale. Katerina treated us like a sister. The rooms were clean and spacious, and we had homemade breakfast with a wonderful view of Ioannina lake. Thank you, Katerina. We’ll definitely visit again!
