The welcome from Katerina and the staff is always warm, with that genuine Greek hospitality. We’ve stayed three times now and have been happy on every visit with the room, the location, breakfast, and the service and cleanliness.

The room was impressively spotless and neatly arranged, and Mrs. Katerina made us feel at home with her kindness and attention. We had a lovely stay at Avra Pansion and would gladly return. I’d recommend it to anyone coming to Ios.

You’re right by the Port, with easy connections to the beach and Chora. The staff were kind and always around when needed, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was amazing. Thanks for everything, I’d definitely come back.

We had a lovely three-night stay and felt welcome from the start. The place was quiet but within walking distance of most things, with a bakery and grocery store about two minutes away and the port about three minutes on foot. Our clean, well-kept room had a comfortable king-sized bed and a big balcony for sunset or morning coffee. We’d stay again.

Caterina made us feel at home and looked after us so well. The breakfast was fresh, generous, and carefully served, and housekeeping was excellent. The rooms are simple but renovated, with a very good bathroom and comfortable beds. There’s free parking right in front. The port area is just around the corner, close enough for markets and restaurants but far enough away to keep things quiet. Watching the boats there is lovely. Chora is a five-minute drive.
