George's Place

I’d give this no points if I could. I phoned the property and was told that this particular house wasn’t available, but another studio was, at an affordable price. I said that worked for me and asked to see it. They said they’d send photos the next day. When I called again, I found out the apartment had already been booked online. The owner hadn’t told me there was a site where I could view it or that someone else might reserve it, and I was left without accommodation. When I complained, the staff seemed indifferent. They manage other places too, but didn’t try to find me another option at their hotel. They just gave me phone numbers for other guesthouses, all of which were full, and they didn’t even know the prices. A truly terrible experience. I’d advise staying away.

The hosts were so lovely, and the rooms were perfect and cleaned every day. The location was just right too. I can’t recommend it enough.

Great place in an ideal spot, close to everything. The staff were excellent and friendly. Highly recommend.

Really good value for money, and great for 2+ people, if you know what I mean.
