Golden Sun

This family hotel made for an amazing stay. The owners did so much to make it special, and the rooms were spotless. Breakfast was delicious, made fresh on the spot, and very reasonably priced. There was a lovely sea view from the pool, and the hotel offered great value for its price and type. The free pickup and all the local tips were much appreciated. I’d happily return. 5⭐️, highly recommend!

The pool was large, with different depths, plenty of sunbeds and a beautiful view. Our room was quiet, with a lovely terrace overlooking the garden. Everything was clean, fresh and pleasant. The location was convenient too: you can walk to the port and Chora, or catch the bus right outside the hotel. What made the stay special was the owner’s welcome. Instead of just checking us in and handing over the keys, he took time to greet us and gave us a map with places to see across the island. He pointed out the best beach, a sunset spot, restaurants with fresh fish and a cheap supermarket. We used his guide throughout the trip and loved it. Staying at Golden Sun felt absolutely magical and special. :)

The owners were very kind and welcoming, and this place is all about quiet and relaxing in nature. We had a clean, comfortable room with a balcony where we could watch Ios’s amazing sunsets. There’s also a nice pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. The location is convenient, near the port and about a ten-minute walk from Chora. A great choice for a holiday!

The big pool has a stunning view, and the hotel is a good value for money. It’s an eight-minute walk from the port, with the bus stop for Chora right next door. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and our simple, very clean room had everything we needed.
