Hotel Mediterraneo

We barely wanted to leave, whether we were spending the day at the pool or heading out to the beaches. It was the most relaxing holiday we've had. Our room had a nice view over the pool and a lovely deck, and it was cleaned thoroughly each day. The air con was a godsend. The shower was a little cramped, but we got used to it, as we often did in Greece. The staff were fantastic and could always help or suggest something to make our trip better. NaNa the dog was a highlight, too. The location worked well. One small suggestion: it would have been nice to have wine or a cocktail in happy hour. We had plenty of beer, but wanted a change before going out at night. I'd happily recommend staying here.

The pool bar food and service were great, and Salvatore's pastas were especially good. Salvatore and Maritina were kind and helpful, and our room was clean and well equipped. The bathroom was a little small, but fine. The pool itself was spacious, clean, and warm. Hotel Mediterraneo is right opposite Chora and close to supermarkets, bars, a bakery, and restaurants, so it's in the middle of everything. We returned to Ios after a year and were very glad we chose this hotel. If we come back, we'll stay here again. Thanks, Salvatore and Maritina, for everything.

We spent the day here after hiring sun beds for £5 euro. The pool area was lovely, with beds and hammocks, and the drinks and food were reasonably priced. Salvatore, the owner, and a lovely Greek lady looked after us and were so friendly and hospitable. I'd definitely recommend coming for a day or staying here.

The owner was very welcoming and spoke several languages, which added to our experience. The hotel is very close to the center of Ios town. We had an amazing three-night stay and it became one of my favorite hotels. Unforgettable, and I RECOMMEND IT!
