Markos Village

Markos Village is right in the heart of Ios, making it easy to explore the charming center on foot. The facilities were spotless and well maintained, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. I had a wonderful, comfortable, relaxing stay and would highly recommend it. Can't wait to come back!

We were really happy with our accommodation. The food there and nearby was good, and we got useful tips on where to go. Everything you need is a quick walk away. Would recommend.

The food and cocktails were really lovely, and George, Maria and their family made us feel so welcome. They picked us up at the port and took us back, too. The central location is ideal, with a bus stop nearby for getting to the port or beaches. We'd happily return and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you so much 💓

The pool is a good size, there's an indoor bar, and the hotel sits in central ios facing the lovely village on the hill. The bus stop for Far out beach club and manganari beach is only a minute away, and the village nightlife is just across the road. Cafes, bars and restaurants are close by, though we were far enough away that the noise didn't bother us. There's also a local cafe and convenience store a few minutes' walk away. Since it's a small island, getting around is easy. For a quad bike, the place down the road near Sweet Irish Dream club gave better service than the nearest rental shop, based on what I saw. Markos and his family were lovely hosts, and Goran, the night security gentleman, was a great guy. The rooms were adequate, and staff sorted out any issues quickly. The ferry port is a 10 minute drive, and if you ask, staff can arrange transport, which was very generous. Their local knowledge really adds to the stay. I was concerned after getting an electric shock while adjusting the lamp pictured. I contacted them about the possible fire hazard and serious safety issue. It may have been a loose wire touching the housing or incorrect wiring, and it needs urgent repair. Aside from that, we had a great stay and I'd definitely recommend them. Thank you.
