It’s in an incredible spot, just a short walk from the bus stop, supermarkets, and the main bars and clubs. There’s also a nice shared area where guests can meet. The owners were lovely and gave us great tips for the island. Our spacious room was cleaned every day, the bathroom was a good size, and the air conditioning worked well.

The owners made us feel safe and at home throughout our stay, which meant a lot to us as two young women travelling together. The rooms were always clean, and the central location made it easy to get around town. Every time we saw the owners, they greeted us with a big smile. They went out of their way to look after us. They offered to pick us up at the port and take us back for our ferry at no extra cost, and brought us fresh baked goods more than once. Frankie even drove us around the island and gave us brilliant restaurant tips and local shortcuts. This was our favourite stay of the whole trip. The best place to stay in Ios, I couldn’t recommend it more.

Katharina, who I think was the landlady, and her husband were both so caring and welcoming. We still daydream about our time at Palm Pansion, it was such a memorable stop on our three weeks of backpacking around the Greek islands. We stayed for four days last August. They picked us up at the harbour and took us quickly to the hostel. The room was simple but just right for the two of us. From the balcony, we had an amazing view over Ios, and it was a great place to meet other backpackers, which we loved. Nightlife is right nearby, with the clubs and the incredibly beautiful Greek street you always see on Instagram only a five-minute walk away. The whole stay was a complete SLAY!!!

We visited in May, when the island was a little quieter, and the owners still went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They left us snacks, cleaned our room, and drove us to and from the port. I can’t say enough about how kind they are. We’d 100% come back!
