Everything I needed was close by, within a five-minute walk or less, and the place was clean and comfortable. The owners were very hospitable, and the location was perfect, near the beach, the port, and island transport links. Probably the best value for money on the island. It ticked all my boxes for this trip, and I’ll stay there again if I return to Ios.

You can walk to the port, and the best restaurants and bus stop are just a stone’s throw away. Pension Irini-Vicky is in the most characteristic part of Ios and close to what I think is the island’s most beautiful beach. It’s a simple, functional place at a reasonable price, and you may even get a beautiful room overlooking the sea. There may be little things to improve, but the guesthouse is run by a mother, daughter, and grandmothers who work hard to make your stay pleasant.

Our ferry was cancelled, so unfortunately we couldn’t stay here. The hosts were very understanding and kind, and approved a full refund. Excellent customer service!

The rooms are nice and the beds very comfortable. I just wish there were a few kitchen basics, like a kettle, cutlery, and plates, and somewhere to put clothes while using the bathroom.

We got a beautiful, cosy, comfortable room for a very low price. The air conditioning and WiFi worked well, and the darkened windows kept much of the morning light out.
