Sunrise Hotel

The location was disturbing and unacceptable. One staff member physically detained me without legal authority, even though they aren't a police or law enforcement official. Restraining me as if they had those powers was a serious violation of my personal freedom and rights. No guest should be treated this way in a place meant to be a safe, professional hospitality environment. I'm shocked and disappointed the hotel allowed this behavior. I strongly advise others to reconsider staying here until the hotel addresses this serious breach of conduct. Safety and respect for guests should be a top priority, and this hotel failed on both fronts.

The service was lovely and efficient, and we had a free transfer to and from the port. The pool had a beautiful view, and the location was good near the "center", though there's a bit of a walk up the hill. We didn't get the balcony room we had reserved, and were told there was a problem with Booking. It was fine since we stayed just one night. There were lots of partygoers making noise in the middle of the night, so it might not be the place for us, though I guess that's a thing all over Ios.. :)

The hilltop spot is right beside chora, and the views at both sunrise and sunset are lovely. It’s a climb, but we thought it was worth it. The staff were really friendly and helped us sort out questions about transport and places to go. I’d happily recommend this hotel.

We spent three days here and had a really nice time. The pool area was lovely, the food was good, and the staff helped us with everything we needed. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.
