Junior Hotel

We spent three days in a roomy family room for four, with good equipment, very clean and matched by a large veranda overlooking the sea. It's a calm beachfront spot close to Nafplion, and the sunset is a lovely extra. Efi, the manager, and the rest of the staff were friendly and ready to help. Breakfast was nice and enough, though it's best to arrive in the dining room during the first hour. The room also had an iron and board, plus a coffee machine and cups, which came in handy. WiFi was weak, as you'd expect in the countryside, so bring enough mobile data. A pleasant, easy stay that delivers what it promises, especially for families looking for a relaxing place.

The sea view from my room was decent, but the shore is rocky and the water isn't suitable for swimming, which is a shame. I also thought the place was pricey for what it offers. The room itself was spacious, though it needs renovation and some artistic touches. The air conditioner was very outdated and extremely noisy, and soundproofing wasn't good, so noisy neighbours are a problem. If you can, choose a room on the second floor for that reason. The owners and staff were warm and welcoming. They offered homemade sweets when we arrived, a polite and professional gesture. Breakfast was really nice, but the terrace gets quite hot on summer days and could use fans. There is indoor seating if you can't get a terrace table.

The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was excellent, with homemade Greek pies, cookies and marmalades, plus fresh orange juice. Our room was spacious and very clean, with big balconies.

Check-in was welcoming, and the room was nice for a fair price. There isn't much to do nearby, though, and you can find a better beach elsewhere.
