Villa Hola Mykonos

Stay away if you don't want your holiday to become a nightmare. The villa looked very different in person from the photos on booking.com. On arrival, a loud water pump kept starting every 1-2 minutes, making it impossible to imagine sleeping. After several calls and requests, a man came and switched off the pool cleaning system, which stopped the pump. That only lasted 2-3 hours. It started again and ran every 2-3 hours all night. The only way to stop the noise was to turn off the electricity. We arrived late and couldn't even make food because the oven didn't work. The sheets, beds, kitchen, equipment, and utensils were dirty and looked as if they hadn't been washed in a hundred years. Everything was dirty. We decided to leave as soon as we woke up and tried to settle things amicably, asking for half of what we'd paid back. The owner refused. Mike, an employee, told us on the phone that the owner had agreed to a 50% refund, but that wasn't true. The villa was awful, and the staff were tragically unprofessional.
