Crystal Beach

The staff were wonderful and welcoming, from reception and the room maids to the bar staff and waiters. Shakira at the pool bar greeted us with a smile from our very first day. The location is ideal for a quick swim in the sea and then back to a lounger by the pool, where there was no problem finding a sunbed. The pool bar was reasonably priced and served drinks in proper glasses, even by the pool. Food from the main hotel kitchen was great too. Our room was spacious and modern, with daily service and regular towel changes. Even the free pool towels were changed three times during the week. Great hotel. I can’t understand why it’s only rated three stars, it easily deserves four. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

The staff were warm and always ready to help, and the breakfast had a huge choice of really tasty food. We also ate very well at the hotel restaurant. The cocktail bar stood out too, with excellent drinks and great ingredients and preparation, among the best on the island. Add the spotless standards and a spot right by the sea, and it's easy to recommend.

There’s a little tourist shop with basic groceries and several tourist restaurants about a five-minute walk away. The hotel itself is wonderfully peaceful, with a lovely view over the sea and beach. The pool and terrace by the water stay quiet, with no loud music or group activities, which we really appreciated. The rooms feel a bit worn, and breakfast could be better: powdered juice, low-quality meat, and not much variety. Still, it’s worth staying here.

We wanted a quiet, laid-back break, and the location suited us perfectly. There are plenty of tavernas nearby, while the bars on the strip are about a 10-minute walk if you’re after more nightlife. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and enjoyed it. The two-bedroom room was spotless, cleaned really well, and we never had trouble finding a sunbed, whatever time of day. Breakfast covered everything from a full cooked meal to fruit and pastries. The staff were lovely, and the view is straight out to crystal-clear water. We’ve already booked to return next year after our seven-night stay.
