Elysian Luxury Hotel & Spa

The hotel looks gorgeous, and the coffee and juices were great. We were staying in Kardamyli and, with awful weather forecast, called the night before to see if a spa day could be arranged. The Spa Manager kindly fit all 4 of us in at short notice and went well beyond what we'd expected. We spent a relaxing 4 hours being pampered with massages, the spa pool and hamman steam. I can't recommend it enough. 🙏❤️

When we came in early September it was very quiet, and most of the other guests seemed to be Greek. The garden has lots of sunbeds and other features, and everything was well looked after. Service was attentive and really friendly, the food was great, and the pool was lovely. There's also a blue flag just across the street. Highly recommended.

The entrance made a great first impression, and the welcome was very professional. The staff were kind and helpful, and the hotel itself was not bad, but our stay was frustrating enough that we won't return. We had contacted the hotel from the start about keeping the 2 suites and 1 room we booked close together. They assured us several times, including on a phone call shortly before we arrived, that this would happen. Instead, the suites were separated by another suite occupied by guests who had arrived that same day. It seemed like a failure of the hotel's internal communication. At reception, a young receptionist told me this arrangement wasn't possible and must have been an earlier mistake. When I asked for a manager, I was told that if we had arrived earlier, perhaps the rooms could have been kept together. That shifted the blame to us instead of taking responsibility, which left us deeply dissatisfied. 3 stars only because the staff were helpful and the hotel overall was okay.

The pool area was beautiful, though with so many children around I wouldn't choose it for a quiet couples' break. Our room was clean and spacious, and the staff were very polite and helpful. There was a lot to like at breakfast, including plenty of fresh choices and individual bottles of freshly squeezed orange juice. Coffee wasn't at the buffet, though, and we had to order it separately and pay extra. A couple of things could be better: the room lacked a convenient arrangement, and the hair dryer overheated and shut off after only a few minutes. Even so, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel, especially to families.
