Garden by the beach

The service here is so good that I don’t have enough words to recommend the hotel. We stayed for three days with our family, and every person we met was kind, helpful, and always smiling. On a peak day, I asked for a late checkout because I had something to take care of and wanted my family to stay at the hotel for two more hours. They were fully booked, but at 10 am the receptionist called the next guest to check their arrival time and managed to accommodate us. They could easily have said no, and I wouldn’t have complained. The hotel is clean and well maintained, and I wish every hotel in the country offered this quality of service. This is the kind of approach we want to see in our country’s most important industry.

This place feels more like a hospital than a hotel, and it’s far from the city. The rooms are tiny, with barely any space to walk, and hair and stains seem to be everywhere. The afternoon food options are very limited, just pasta, two kinds of salad, or rice, and even those were badly cooked. Room key cards also get deactivated at random. The security guards are inexcusably rude whenever anyone leaves their room. Absolutely vile. Book somewhere else.

The balcony has a fantastic view, the service is great, and the private beach is beautiful. Bring beach shoes, though, because there are stones in the first few metres. The room feels old, with worn-out furniture, bad plumbing, and weak Wi-Fi. If you book by phone, get confirmation by email, since the room price might mysteriously change otherwise. That was the main reason my family won’t return or recommend the place. Such a pity, given the amazing Greek nature and views around it.

Clean, comfortable room, and a very good breakfast.
