The sea was a highlight: the water was crystal clear, and swimming in the morning felt like being in a movie. From 27 May to 6 June it was quiet and not crowded. The hotel and rooms have been renovated, which mattered to me after a past trip where the photos had hidden how old a place was. I asked for a quiet room with a nice view and got exactly that. The staff were lovely and helpful everywhere, including the restaurant and beach. They even found back pain cream for my mother, and the manager, Panos, was very helpful too. I travel a lot, and this is one of the best places in Europe for me. Highly recommend it.

Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with lots to choose from and consistently good quality. We were on half board and were really impressed with the food. Filoxenia Grecotel Kalamata has a relaxed feel, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. The seaside location is beautiful, and our room was clean and comfortable. We'd happily come back.

You can get straight to the sea from this place, and the location is excellent. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and the service from the staff was good. Mado, Adonis, and Maria deserve a special thank you for being so professional. Room cleaning was uneven at times, though, and some toiletries weren't always replenished.

It’s an easy place to unwind, with the beach just a few steps from the pool. The hotel is spacious throughout, and the rooms are wonderful. The staff were lovely and friendly. Highly recommended.

I brought a group whose bookings were all for double rooms, but the hotel kept setting them up as singles. They did correct it after I explained, then the next day they had made them up as singles again. It was really odd, especially since my own room was single and had a full double bed.
