IRA-HPA Hotel

We’ll definitely be back. IRA Hotel is right in the heart of Kalamata, so most things are within walking distance, and the beach is about a 15-minute walk. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully set up, with a very comfortable bed, a great shower, and even a choice of pillow type. Breakfast felt homemade rather than like the plastic ready-made food at many hotels, and there was plenty of variety. The spa services were good, and I can’t recommend the massage enough, it melted away my stress. All the staff were genuinely smiling, kind, and accommodating. They also offer parking, which is so important when you’re driving in a busy city like Kalamata.

I was very satisfied with my stay in Kalamata and would come back. The hotel is close to the city center, and the room was spotless with a huge shower. Breakfast was a buffet with everything you could ask for, even handmade protein bars. There’s a spa, and the massage therapists are excellent.

The private parking, available free of charge, is a rare and very convenient perk in the city center. The hotel is in the historic center and has an authentic atmosphere alongside the comfort. Staff were genuinely polite and attentive, and the rooms were spacious and spotless, with very comfortable beds. You can even choose how firm you want your pillow, a thoughtful detail. On arrival we were given local wine, olive paste, and fresh biscuits, a lovely welcome touch. The minibar was well stocked and had free bottled water. The basement spa was relaxing, with a friendly and very professional therapist. Breakfast was in the classic European style with fresh products, though a few more options would improve it. If we visit again, it’ll be our first choice. ✨

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel in Kalamata. We’d booked the wrong dates by mistake, and the staff went out of their way to change our reservation at no charge. The hotel is right in the city center, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and Kalamata’s lively atmosphere. Private parking was convenient, and there’s a lovely spa for relaxing. They also surprised us with a thoughtful gift that made the visit even more special. Highly recommended!
