Famissi Eden Hotel

The rooms were in filthy, unacceptable condition across our group of 20. There was hair, including pubic hair, in the tubs, on toilet seats and towels, and even in the beds. Some sheets had dried skin flakes, suggesting they hadn’t been changed after the previous guests, and several fridges were too dirty to use. When we raised this, the staff wouldn’t help and offered neither compensation nor a refund. Breakfast was extremely poor, too. I was leading the group at Hotel Famissi Eden on 26 September, and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve witnessed. I have photos of what we found. What we paid for was nothing like what we got. I strongly warn other travelers to avoid this hotel.

The hotel’s wood details and landscaping were beautiful, and the scenery around it was stunning. It was easily the prettiest place we stayed, with a location among lovely rocks and views. My only complaint was that the air conditioning didn’t work well. If it had, I’d have given five stars.

We had a suite, and it was new and really spacious. The gardens and gazebos were lovely, as was the pool area, with great views all around. The staff were very helpful.

There was trash on the floor, and the bathroom was covered in mold and grime. The sheets had hair all over them. The room itself was dirty, and the coffee pot had an inch of dirty water inside.
