The location is hard to beat, with the center, KTEL bus station, shops, and tavernas all 2-5 minutes away on foot. There's an elevator, and breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and had something for every taste. The reception staff were lovely. They helped me get hot water for tea, suggested cafes and tours, and arranged an early check-in. Taverna Syrtaki delivers, and the meat they brought was delicious and very reasonably priced. My room was bigger than I expected, with a double bed, lots of pillows, and more essentials than I've seen in 3-4* hotels before, including slippers and a tooth kit. I also had a balcony view of the rocks. Cleaning could have been better: the mirror and table weren't cleaned. But the bathroom, towels, and bed linen matter most to me, and those were clean, though the large towel wasn't very new. This was just a great hotel. I didn't notice any difference between it and the 4* place in Kalabaka where I'd stayed the night before.

The staff were welcoming and spoke English well, and the service was good. Rooms were cozy and clean. The mattress was maybe a bit hard, but not enough to be an issue. The building looks old but is well maintained. A simple place for a good price, I'd recommend it.

I loved my room, especially the view of Meteora. The shower was nice, the bed comfortable, and breakfast was good. It was also well soundproofed and the staff were lovely. I really don't see why this is rated as a 2-star hotel. It deserves more.

We only stayed one night, but the staff were so attentive and helpful. Harry, our cab driver, was very professional and also an excellent guide to the different Orthodox monasteries. We highly recommend him. Thanks, Isabelle et Matteo.
