Orfeas Hotel

The food was amazing, and the employees running the buffet were great. I needed another chair at our table to fit my party, and an employee helped me get fresh utensils. The location was great, though there isn't much nearby. Some rooms have an amazing view. The bedrooms weren't that comfortable, and the shower I used was extremely small. Others in my group had bigger showers, so it seems like a bit of a gamble.

The location is very good, and the view from the outside balcony was charming. The room bedding needs work: the mattress was hard, and the comforter and other bedding weren't great. I didn't think the food was very good either. To me, this is definitely a 3-star hotel.

The place looked freshly renovated and bright, and the staff seemed nice. It was also very clean. But several things still needed attention: the fridge was out, the shower head was broken, and the lights kept flickering. The buffet restaurant worked fine for me as someone used to American food. I like reading sitting up in bed, but the bed rolls away from the headboard, so that wasn't really possible. I can see how wheels might make cleaning easier, but it was a small annoyance. The elevators are small, which I'm still getting used to. My key did work, though there was an issue with it that I ignored instead of asking the front desk to sort out. That's on me.

The pool was a highlight, and there's street parking right outside. We had a small room, but the balcony was nice. It's also a handy spot, an easy walk to the town centre and plenty of places to eat. We were visiting from Australia. Breakfast was only okay, and for some reason there was no way to toast bread. The barman was friendly. The main drawback was the tiny shower, which only had a handheld nozzle. Possibly the worst shower I've had.
