The best things were the pool, the amazing view and sunsets, and the location for exploring lots of beaches. Cleanliness wasn't terrible, but it could have been better. There were a lot of broken things, mostly minor, but after such a 'warm' welcome from our host, it was hard to overlook them. I wouldn't return, especially because of the manager and the beds. The owners have changed since we booked, and the new manager, Kostas, had no tact. Our car trouble meant we called to say we'd arrive a day late, and the person on the phone said that was fine. But when we got there, Kostas had cancelled our booking through booking because we hadn't arrived on time. He said the person we'd spoken to wasn't him and he'd simply pressed the no-show button. He got louder to prove he was right and blame us. We stopped arguing, since being right seemed more important to him, and were allowed to stay, but no longer officially through booking. We'd booked a room with a washing machine, but there wasn't one. There was no safe or paid TV either, though we didn't care much about those. The bed was awful, with an old mattress and springs sticking out, as if physiotherapy sessions went there to die. The shower wasn't enclosed so the bathroom stayed wet. We got more careful, but it was still wet because the sink leaked. On top of that, waves of sewer smell came from the bathroom, which was the worst thing for me.

We'd stayed here once before, but this time it was the worst experience. Previous good reviews aren't relevant because the owners have changed. I also saw reviews on Tripadvisor.gr mentioning a family that called the police over a manager's behavior. When we arrived, there were spider webs on the furniture, under chairs, on the wardrobe and beside the bed. I thought the room hadn't been cleaned and messaged the manager, Kostas. He came about five minutes later, angry and without a welcome, and asked why I was complaining when everything was fine apart from 'just' the webs. He said that for what we paid he rented one night in his luxury villas on the hill, and if we wanted luxury we should book those. I paid for this room and wanted it clean. He didn't apologize or make sure it was cleaned properly. The webs were still there on the third day, when regular cleaning was done. I had specifically asked for a ground-floor studio by the pool because my mum has trouble walking. We got a ground-floor room farther away instead. The terraces were divided by a fence, and Kostas told us not to cross another guest's terrace when they were outside. We followed that. Then one morning we found our fence locked, with no warning, so Mum had to walk all the way around the property to reach the pool, even though no one was on the other terrace. It was our last day, so I called him about it. He said the other guests had complained we'd crossed their terrace. If he cared about our stay, he could have explained to the young women that my older mum needed to pass a few times to and from the pool that day. Instead, he again told me to rent his villas if I wanted privacy, got into his car, and left without fixing anything. His mother does housekeeping and passes through the other terrace several times a day because the laundry room is between the two ground-floor studios, and that's apparently fine. He showed no empathy for my mum, a paying guest who needed a convenient stay. I tried calling the owner twice, but he didn't answer or call back. The manager and owners were both dismissive. I regret spending my money here and don't recommend it. We got much better service at smaller, cheaper places.

The hosts were super friendly and gave us all the information we needed. It's a great base for daily trips to any beach, and the famous restaurants Rachi and Amente are nearby. The accommodation also has a pool, parking, and a terrace.

Avoid this place. The amenities weren't as described and the service was awful. The manager, Kostas, was rude and aggressive, while the owner, Argyris, didn't answer calls. They kept the deposit even though they weren't providing what they'd promised. Stay away, they're crooks.
