The owners were very kind and ready to help, and everything in our warm room was spotless. We had a very good two-night stay in a beautiful, clean place. Breakfast was pretty good, though a little limited. We'd definitely return.

It's a quiet spot, with an incredible view at dawn, and the rooms are warm. Leonidas was friendly and happy to answer our questions. Families have a playground just below, plus two places to eat, a pizza place and a taverna, both serving very good food. Be careful driving around the village: the roads are narrow and steep, with dead ends, so ask for directions first. Follow the kayaking signs down to the river, where there's a cafe and lots of room for kids to play.

It's a lovely, quiet hotel in a beautiful setting, with parking. For its category it feels luxurious, though if you're arriving for the first time, use a GPS because the narrow streets can be confusing. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and they don't skimp on winter heating, as others have mentioned. I stayed in ground-floor room 3 and found the mattresses hard. Anyone who prefers a softer bed might not sleep well, and I don't know if the mattresses are the same throughout the building. There's no A/C either. The place may suit winter better, when the radiators are on, but summer afternoons can get hot. I was there in July when it was 38-39 C, and even with the shutters closed, an air conditioner or even a fan would have helped people staying in during the day. One other suggestion: the wall-mounted TV is very small. I don't personally use it much, but a future renovation could include 32" or larger sets for more comfortable evening viewing before bed.

The owner was very nice, polite, and helpful. We stayed here a long time ago, and have everything planned for a return. The rooms are normal-sized and large, and there's parking. What I remember most is how warm it was, with the morning fog in winter. We liked our stay and will be back...
